its time to blog and i have nothing to talk about. i am tired and i dont really feel like doing this but i have to. this book we are reading is really good. orson is crazy. he does whatever he needs to do to be successful. he stole a part of a book to put in his part in the radio. also it is weird how he is superstitious. he was talking about the bad luck thing and he said it had to happen before the show or the show would be bad luck. i think that that is crazy. it is weird how he wants something bad to happen before the show. richard was stupid to try to see how close he could get the match to the water sprinkler. why would you do that. there is nothing good that can come from it. he got lucky though but saying that it was the bad luck thing and he got away with it. he would of been screwed and he would of lost his job. also i feel bad for him because he cant get any girls. girls just see right threw him. the one girl didnt even see him and sat right in front of the teacher. he must of felt so bad. that is 15 minutes and i will see everyone tomorrow.

this past week of school wasnt bad. it went by really fast. the test for Julius Caesar was pretty easy. it was pretty straight forward but the only thing i was bad at was minor characters names. they all sound the same and there are to many names that are similar. when they start with the same letter i get confused. me and orson wells seems like it will be interesting. orson wells is pretty interesting. he was so young and he was so successful. he was good at everything in show business. he was good at radio, plays, and movies. i have no idea what the book will be about but i hope it will be good. im tired and i dont know what to talk about. school is almost over. there is only like 5 weeks left. we have one month left and then it is summer. it was weird how we got our progress reports on the home access center. i like getting the progress report at school so i dont have to worry about getting it after school. i guess it is good though that they arent printing off all that paper. it must of saved so much paper. now that i think about it, it is a great idea to do this because everyone gets a paper and there is a lot of people in the school so it was smart. that is fifteen minutes and i am done.

i am so tired right now that i have no idea how i am going to write this blog. so what did we do last week? we finished caesar and it was pretty good. i wish brutus never killed caesar! i wonder how different rome would have been and i wonder how different today would have been. would everything be different due to what rome did in the past. for history i have to do a project like that! i have to change one event in history and say what happens in the present. that makes me think of the butterfly effect where if you went back in time and you killed a butterfly, the whole future would change. i got really off topic but oh well. i wonder what we are going to do next in english. hopefully it will be fun. im really hungry but i have to finish this first. the worst part is that i have the travel channel on and they are playing like best burgers or best dinners and it is making me more hungry. i am pretty excited for school to be over. i heard we only have like 20 some days left of school. i cant wait to go swimming but i really want to go to the beach. i am going on a road trip to myrtle beach with a couple of my friends and it is going to be a lot of fun. also i am going to kings island with a couple friends during the summer. i have a lot of plans i cant wait. i am done and i am going to go eat!

easter blog

today is easter and i am enjoying not doing much today. i feel like bruno mars song lazy day cause i really havent done anything constructive today. i woke up at twelve and started watching tv. i watched the movie 300. it was pretty good. then i got on the computer to look at the new phone i am getting soon. it is the evo 4g. it is a smart phone and it is defiantly an upgrade from my phone. my phone is called the moment and it is starting to slow down on me. everything is taking forever to work and i am ready for a new phone. this week in class was fun. i am enjoying reading Julius Caesar. i cant believe that they would kill caesar especially brutus. i am glad that Antony stood up for caesar and got the people mad at the conspirators. the people of rime are very stupid though. they do no think for themselves. they just agree with whatever they hear. they were to mad to think after Antony convinced the people the conspirators were bad. they started to burn everything and i dont think they realized that they were going to end up burning their own houses. they were also stupid for killing Cinna the poet just because he had the same name as Cinna the conspirator. i wonder what the rest of the book will be like. happy easter everybody!

this week of english was fun. i actually enjoy this play we are reading. i like the history of rome so it is more interesting to me. caesar seems like a very smart person. he is a little to cocky though and that seems like his down fall. i also enjoyed drawing pictures on friday. im not very good at drawing but it was still fun. this weekend was fun for me. on friday i played a basketball game at 7 30. on saturday i played a game in the morning and then i went to hang out with some of my friends. i played basketball with them. we also found a water balloon launcher i had. you need three people to use it. there is two handles at the end of two rubber bands. there is a water balloon holder and a handle on the back of it so you can pull it back.

we didnt have any water ballon so we decided to shoot some other things. we shot an apple and two orange. when they hit the ground they completely exploded. it was pretty funny. then we decided to shoot a vinegar bomb. when we shot it and it hit the ground it made a really loud bang! it was a lot of fun. today was the best day though. i had an aau basketball game at 10. then i came home and went to hannah park to play basketball at 1. i stayed there until 3 30. i went to chipotle and came back to hannah park and stayed there until six. that is a lot of basketball for one day. that was a great weekend and i am ready for this four day week!

spring break

this spring break was a lot of fun. i was busy the whole time. i played basketball everyday and i played video games everyday. it was cold at the beginning of the week though. it snowed which wasnt very good for spring. i played basketball at hannah park at least 5 five times with my friends. we played for hours and had fun the whole time. i also went to see some movies. i saw a movie called King Speech with my dad. it was really good. it was about a king with a speech impediment. i also went out to eat a lot. i went from places like Wendys to Buffalo Wild Wings. i also went hot tubbing a lot. i went to my friends hot tub with a lot of different people. it felt good to go into the hot water when there was snow on the ground. we did what we called the brynmare challenge. what we did was run from the hot tub to a close park called brynmare. we had to run on our bathing suites and touch the sign at the park. the thing that made it really challenging was that there was snow on the ground. it was a lot of fun. spring break reminded me of summer and i cant wait until school is over. that is fifteen minutes and by the way Shakespeare is the MAN!

Surviving this Project

Dear Reader,

         In “The Zombie Survival Guide” by Max Brooks it tells you everything you need to know about zombies and how to survive. I will demonstrate this through four examples. First is a newspaper article. It describes the thought on zombies being real or not. Second is a police report of an attack on a town. This is showing their violence and power. Third is a top ten list. It will tell you the best places to hide. Fourth and last is a photograph. It shows a picture of the terrible looking undead. These all will demonstrate the books main theme, survival.

         The Theme of survival or the will to live is a very important one. I chose this theme because it is what is taught through out the book. The book has many events that show people doing things they didn’t think they could do before to survive. When in the heat of the moment, survivors have made decisions like leaving a loved one that has been infected behind. Before this, these same, very attached people could not have left their loved ones side. Survival is what keeps every living thing going. Everything wants to live as long as possible and they can only do this with the will to survive. That is why this theme is important and also why I chose it.

Zombies, Real or Myth

After what happened at Sperry, Alabama the conversation has been brought up about zombies. I have heard both sides of the story about zombies being real or not. The side that says they are real has given the zombies a disease name. They call it Solanum. They say it brings the dead back to life and infects other people. People on the other side of the argument say that the people who say they saw the so-called zombies are mentally insane. They must have been imagining what they saw. I am not sure on what to believe but when more information comes out, I will let you the readers know.

Police Report for Sperry, Alabama

Today a freak attack happened in Sperry. We got several different calls about these crazy people they called them. The people were moaning and trying to bite all the people they saw. We went down to the houses that called us to check it out. We found these people that if I didn’t know better I would call them zombies. They were attacking the house and then they noticed us. There were about eight or ten of them. We told them to stop and they wouldn’t we started to open fire. The bullets went right through their chest. One of the men got lucky and shot one in the head. The man dropped and didn’t move. We realized a headshot would finish them off. We killed all of them. The people told us that they had been under attack for a couple of hours. They said that these people had died in their homes from an unknown sickness and had come back to life.

Reflection

      Each reflection i did connected to survival. i choose each one so that they all connected together in a way and i also made it so that each genre connected to my book and survival. this project overall was fun and i enjoyed it. i enjoyed the book i read. one thing i didnt like was that we had to put it on this blog. it made some things that would have been easy to do on  paper i could just turn in. one example of this was the wanted poster. i spent a lot a time on it and i couldnt get it to work so i just chose something else. i still enjoyed the project and i think it should be done next year.

bloggin and being sick

well i am writing this blog right now and it is during school except i am at home. i have been sick the past two and a half days. it is the reason that i am doing my blog today and not yesterday but oh well i took my risk of waiting until sunday. i wish i didnt have this terrible fever and ache so much because it is even hard to walk. hopefully i will be ok by tomorrow. my dad thinks i have the flu so it shouldnt last long right? i am feeling better than yesterday though. i am eating better today. oh well now its time to talk about the topic this week. what is my greatest achievement? im not really sure. i guess my greatest achievement would have to be when i made the jv basketball team. it was a hard team to make and i had to work hard to make that team. i had a great time with my teammates and we had a great season. we won occ which was another great achievement that our team had. i would defiantly say that making the team is my greatest achievement. i dont know what to talk about now. oh ya my book. i am reading the zombie survival guide. it is a good book so far. it is very different than a regular book. it is in a form of a guide but it has facts, well  fake facts about zombies. their strengths, weaknesses, and a lot more. well that is fifteen minutes and i am done.

The Heart of Sports

     As Jack walked into his apartment on the 137 floor, he looked out his window. He saw a world greatly controlled by technology and computers. the whole city was controlled by computers and every small job was taken over by robots. Jack didn't really like this because as a kid, his dad lost his job to a robot. Jacks dad was a sales man but it wasn't very important anymore. if people wanted something they would just buy it off the internet or a robot would give all the information about a product. Jack then looked at the giant clock that floated over the city. It was a digital clock that read "May 7, 2163. 8:04 PM, New York City, New York". Jack was very sore after his day of work. He was lucky though because his job was playing basketball in the NBA. Jack really focused on basketball because sports was one of the only things that wasn't really affected by technology or more importantly robots.
     Jack was a tall guy at 6' 2". he is very muscular, quick and athletic. he was a point guard and a very good one at that. He had the leadership skills and the basketball skills to make sure his team would win. Jack played for the New York Galaxy. the names of the NBA teams were changed to fit with the more technological society. The next morning, Jack went to practice. He came into the locker room to get ready.
     "Hey Jack", said Mike, the teams best shooting guard.
     "Hey Mike, are you ready for practice today?" Jack asked.
     "Of coarse. I'm about to break Darren's ankles again!" , Mike said laughing and starring at Darren. Darren was the team's best defender so he took this personally.
     "Shut up Mike! That only happened once and the floor was slippery" Darren explained.
     "Ya sure it was, whatever you say" laughed Ben. Ben was the team's post and the team's tallest person at seven feet tall.
     "You cant even talk Ben," Jordan said, "I swatted you so bad yesterday the ball went out of the gym!" Everyone laughed except for ben who was a little embarrassed but he still chuckled under his breath.
      "Alright guys thats enough" Jack said, "Its time to go practice hard."
      The team had a great practice. every practice was great it seemed like. it showed on game days because their record was 46-5. their only losses were to their rivals the miami Robots. the Robots' team captain was Chet Douglas. Jack didnt like a single ting about him. Chet was cocky and mean, but that wasnt the main reason why Jack didn't like him. Chet didnt seem normal. he wasn't weird but he didnt seem human in ways. he seemed to perfect.
     the season continued and the galaxy kept on winning. they went to the play offs and won the first series. they kept on winning and finally arrived to the championship game and of coarse it was against the Miami Robots. except the team had a lot of their players injured in the last game. almost all of the starting five were hurt except for Chet Douglas. the league thought it wouldn't be a very good game if most of the team was hurt so they made a decision. they decided to replace all the players with actual robots. this made Jack mad. he already didnt like them to start with and now they were going to come into one of the only things not affected by them. they fames started and it was weird playing against a thing not a person. they were didnt get  tired but they did have some kinks in them. Jack took advantage of this. he could tell that they would get confused and he would find an opening to get an open shot or make a steal. Jack felt like there was similarities between the robots and Chet. after the first half the score was 57-49 the robots with the lead. at the start of the second half Chet went up for a lay up. Jack was getting frustrated so he took this moment to give off some steam. he hit Chet hard and Chet went sliding into the floor. his face had skid on the floor but when he got up the skin on it was coming off. it seemed like a mask and Jack realized Chet was a robot. no wonder he had hated him form the beginning. the robots didnt have any change in play, they all played at the same pace all the time. they never got angry or had a burst of energy. by the end of the third quarter, the score was 82-81 with the Robots up by one. the fourth quarter was close but it came down to the last 30 seconds. the Galaxy was only down by one. Jack pasted the ball to Mike. Mike crossed one of the robots and drove into the paint. he dished it out to Darren at the three point line. he made a quick pass to jack who shot with one second left. he sprayed Chet and won the game. after the game in Jack was approached by a reporter.
     "Jack, how do you feel the game went and what do you think about the robots playing basketball?" the reporter asked.
     "the game went great but i dont think the robots belong in this sport. they dont have the heart to play the game that any person can put into this sport." Jack said.
     Jack walked away to go celebrate his win with his team.

Movies Movies Movies!

 i watch a lot of movies. i like all types from action and comedy to thriller and horrors. i dont like chick flicks and romances but there are some i watched because i was forced. my favorite movies are comedies. i like step brothers. Will Ferrel was really funny in this movie. i couldnt stop laughing when i watched it. i also like tropic thunder. it has a lot of good actors but i havent seen it in awhile. another good movie is i love you man. i watched it with my best friend and we use lines from the movie all the time. one line we always say is i love you broham. it made us laugh so hard when he said that. i like horror films also. i recently watched Saw Seven. i saw the whole Saw series and it was a great story line. it was interesting to see the traps but sometimes the traps were pretty graphic except that was part of the fun. i also just saw paranormal activity 1 and 2. i didnt find them that scary but there were some parts that made me jump. another great movie is the fighter. i saw part of it yesterday. it was exciting. one of my favorite childhood movies was Like Mike. a orphan finds these Jordan shoes. whenever he put them on he would play basketball like Michael Jordan. he then went to the NBA and took a bad team to the playoffs as a kid. movies are very enjoyable and i love watching them all the time.

Where has the time gone?

this weeks topic is interesting to me. i wonder what people consider a waste of time is. a waste of time could be doing something that will end up with no result or a waste of time is something that people consider nonconstructive. i think that i waste a lot of time. i agree with mr. potter that video games are a waste of time but i still play them all the time. video games are addictive. i go from one addicting game, like Black Ops, to another addicting game, like fall out. on days that i am extremely bored, i can play video games from morning to night. i consider procrastinating as a waste of time. if i have homework do to, i will do whatever i have to do to not do my homework even if i dont like the activity. i have procrastinated atleast ten minutes for this homework alone. i could of been done by now and be doing something i actually enjoy but of coarse it doesnt work that way. i am here still typing this and i am bored already. another activity that i think is the biggest waste of time is facebook. everyone has wasted plenty of time on facebook. i happy to say that i have not been sucked into facebook as much as some other people but i still have wasted time with it. now i am finally done after 25 minutes with only 15 minutes of writing done. Where has the time gone?

my sister! Cant live with her. Cant live without her.

i have one sibling and she is my older sister jessica. she is eight years older than me. when i was a baby she would always play with me and i was like a toy to her. this was fun for her and sometimes not very fun for me. one time she decided to play dress up with me. she put makeup on me and made me wear a dress. this was not very far because i didnt know what was going on because i was so young. she would take me outside and walk me around the block. she said that every time i would see someone, i would lift the bottom of the dress and show off my diapers. this is so humiliating. good thing i was so young i dont it at all. that was just the start of the constant humiliation she would put me through. even though she made fun of me and made me do stupid things, we still had a good relationship. we always would have fun together and act like we were on adventures and we always would use our imagination. we would even play video games together sometimes and she would just watch me and give me advice. we still do that now. it is still fun. one of my favorite memories with Jessica is during christmas. we were getting a gift for my mom. we went to easton and we went to this place were you could decorate a plate or cup or stuff like that. we both panted a plate for my mom and it was so much fun. i love my sister and even though we dont get along, i wouldnt trade her for anybody!

the real cartoons of my childhood

when i was a child, i loved to watch cartoons. i had a ton of cartoons i would watch. these are some of my favorites. thunder cats was one of the first cartoons i remember, well i think it was. i remember the theme song the most. i loved it. i also liked tom and jerry. i used to watch it with my dad. we both enjoyed it. i liked the old violent humor. whenever i see the show on, i still watch it for the memories. i also watched a lot of loonie toons. i liked bugz bunnie and donald duck. that show always made me laugh. when i was a little older i liked to watched recess. i would always wanted to be like t.j., the leader. the recess kids always were pulling funny pranks. another show was kids next door. i liked it because the kids were always trying to fight the adults. it was nice to see kids in charge instead of adults. now that i look back at the show, the kids were fighting about some pretty stupid stuff. one of my favorite shows, probably my favorite childhood show was rocket power. it was about four friends that live in hawaii that live for thrill. i liked it a lot and many of my friends enjoyed it to so we had something to talk about it. what happened to all these great shows?

i am really enjoying the mystery and suspense unit. all the stories are interesting. not a single one has been boring. i liked the monkeys paw. if i was offered the monkeys paw i would not take it. i would not take it because of what the sergeant said and that it just seems really weird. i would not want to be part of anything like that. i would of not wanted it because if it was made to show people that you cant change fate, then it would not help me at all. the ending was pretty weird though. i was not expecting it to turn into a zombie story. i also liked the man from the south. i think that is what it is called. that is the weirdest bet i have ever heard. i wonder why the guy wanted peoples fingers. i also think that the american man was stupid for taking the bet. i know it seems like you don't use your little finger much but when it is gone you will defiantly realize how useful it was. he also wasnt thinking about how bad it would hurt. that women was crazy for losing three fingers to when everything the man had. i liked the movie better than the story. it was just better to see what was going on. that is fifteen minutes and i am done. i will see everybody tomorrow.
